Breakdown of the Best Oscars 2025 Makeup Looks

Hey beauties! Cinema’s most prestigious night finally arrived, and it was every bit as glamorous as we hoped it to be. The Oscars 2025 red carpet was full of stunning stars who gathered to celebrate the excellence of filmmaking. The Academy Awards night had so many great moments to talk about, from Conan O’Brien’s hilarious hosting to a super interesting acceptance speech by Kieran Culkin— but one thing guaranteed to catch everyone's attention was the stunning showcase of natural makeup this year.

Most of the actresses opted for varied techniques in clean and natural – no makeup-makeup looks that enhanced their authentic features. LoveChild is excited to dive into the looks, and hope you are too!

Winning the Best Actress Oscar for her role in ‘Anora’, Mikey Madison has earned herself a spot in Hollywood. Speaking for her makeup look at the Oscars, her look was warm, minimal, and perfect as a classic old Hollywood callback.

She opted for elongating her unique eye shape with black Eyeliner, a soft nude brown Bronzer on the cheek and some Rustic Orange Lipstick to finish the sublime look.

Now onto the 2025 Academy Awards Best Supporting Actress winner, Zoe Saldana. Zoe loves to have a personal expression in her makeup look, and that is reflected in this really subtle and flawless look.

Her base is without a doubt a brilliant match to her deep warm skin tone. She most likely chose a Full Coverage Foundation with an HD matte finish (totally reminds us of our Lights Camera Foundation in shade Caramel Romance!). The rest of her makeup is really simple, just a little hyper-hydrating gloss balm in Nude Pink does the trick.

Selena Gomez

Recently engaged and out to celebrate the multiple nominations of her movie ‘Emelia Perez’, Selena Gomez dazzled the red carpet in a dress made with 16,000 drops of Glass! To match the charm of the dress, she adored herself with an equally impressive makeup look.

She did a fluffy brow look, achieved by filling the brows with a greyish-brown Brow Pencil and a Brown Brow Gel to set them in place.

If there’s something she knows well about makeup, it’s without a doubt, the blush. Selena Gomez blush for the Oscars was a glowy and dewy matte brown– easy to achieve with LoveChild’s Brown Kudi shade.

The luminosity and the shade of her lips are what makes the entire makeup look what it is. Interested in recreating the look? Her lip look is an exact match to our Guava Glitz Lip Oil.

Ana De Armas

She may have been at the prestigious awards night just as an attendee, but Ana De Armas Oscars look definitely made some heads turn. With her Bond Girl energy, her makeup is as sophisticated as it gets. The Reddish Brown tone matte lip colour gives a regal touch. A little highlighter powder goes a long way to lift the inner corners of the eye and bring attention to the sharp tip of the nose.

Emma Stone

Looking almost like a young Oliva Colman, Emma Stone Oscars look came with a refreshing pixie cut and rosy makeup. Emma went with a dewy look– in what looks like a sheer and light Skin Tint. Try on our cute dusty rose pink Bloominator like our Tickle for the lumi-matte glow that Emma has.

Even though her natural lips are quite rosy in general, a soft glide of this lush matte lip creme in shade Pink added that lovely freshness for the red carpet.

This year the makeup trends at the Oscars 2025 were a reflection of celebrating authenticity. Every makeup look was simple, elegant and breathtaking. For all the makeup enthusiasts out there, 2025 proves to be the year where everyone wants to make their natural beauty shine, and so should you! So, go ahead and shine with confidence–  LoveChild is looking forward to your Red Carpet-worthy looks!
